Meetings

Members of the CTGO meet every third Tuesday of the month throughout the school year.  NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

CTGO Meetings - more than just a meeting

 Celebration of Mass

Each guild meeting starts with the celebration of Holy Mass at 4:30 pm at St. Patrick's Basilica in Ottawa.  The CTGO promotes a vision of Catholic education that starts with and ends with Jesus Christ.  As a community of believing Catholics the members of the CTGO share together in the source and summit of Christian daily life as the single, unique and necessary foundation of being a Catholic educator.

Professional Reading

As a group of professionals, guild members choose a book every year to read as an enrichment to our Catholic professional lives.  This year the guild is reading "Abandonment of Divine Providence" by Jean-Pierre de Caussade.  See here for book selections over the last three years.  The professional reading component is a time of shared educational experiences and practices within the framework of the selected work for the year.

Business Meeting

The business component of the Meeting time is highlighted by the various educational and spiritual initiatives that the CTGO offers to the broader community of educators and others.  This includes such things as planning for retreats, lectures and involvement in the broader community.
